What Is The Parent Council?
Our initiative is to engage an active school community by creating access and support to parents/guardians so they can be informed and contributing members of the school community. We work with the school to help create an environment that stimulates and supports student success and a sense of community, belonging and service.
The Council engages in monthly meetings that include the school principal and a teacher representative to learn about what is happening at Spruce Glen and how the Parent Council can support and enhance the school experience, while also making recommendations and providing feedback from the parent/guardian perspective.
The Council also organizes and facilitates a variety of engaging events, opportunities and fundraisers that contribute to the greater school community. If you would like further information or want to be apart
