Constable Lynda Cranney from Huntsville OPP has recommended a documentary by David Suzuki called "The Downside of High" which airs on Thursday January 28th at 8pm on CBC.
This documentary is about the science behind marijuana and mental illness. The scientists work on the connections between marijuana and mental illness and also reveals that, for all young adults, smoking marijuana nearly doubles the risk of developing recuring psychosis, paranoia and hallucinations - the hallmarks of schizophrenia.
