Our first School Council Meeting for the 2022/2023 school year will take place on Tuesday, October 4th at 6:30 pm in the school library. All parents are welcome to attend.
Each year, School Council is required to have certain roles filled to ensure the Council operates smoothly. Here is a list of key positions with School Council; some positions are vacant and some parents have volunteered for some positions already:
- Chairperson or Co-Chairperson: VACANT
- Secretary: Shannon Kerr
- Treasurer: Lisa Kidd
School Council is a great way to support your child’s school, keep in touch with things happening at school, and support the improvement of programs and opportunities for our students. If you are interested in taking on a formal role with School Council or just being a regular member who attends meetings regularly, please notify the principal to express your interest and confirm your attendance for the first meeting next Tuesday.
