The end of the school year is fast approaching and a variety of culminating activities and celebrations are in the works. It is always an exciting time of the school year for students.
School staff are also busy planning and organizing for the 2023/2024 school year. Part of this planning includes placing students in classrooms for next year’s grade. This process is complicated and includes many factors such as: learning styles, working groups, a balance of boys and girls for each classroom, etc. This process is done in collaboration with all classroom teachers, resource teachers, and school administration.
If you have a particular request for your child’s placement next year, please send an e-mail to Ken Waddell ([email protected]). We will do our best to accommodate all requests, but it is important that you know not all requests can be guaranteed. Please send your requests by Friday, June 23rd. Receiving requests this spring will eliminate the need for any classroom changes in the fall. Families will be notified of their child’s class placement on August 31st, 2023.
