Hello Spruce Glen Families,
The School Council is very excited to announce our plan to re-start the Breakfast Club Program. For those not familiar with this program, the goal it is to provide high-quality, nutritious food to the Spruce Glen students in a safe and nurturing environment. There will be hot and cold breakfast food options. The timing of program for volunteers is between the hours of 7:45 am to 8:55 am.
We will be following the food guidelines of the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit. Food options are as follows; whole wheat bagels with the option of butter, cream cheese and jam, cheese strings, yogurt, apples, eggs. pancakes, smoothies, etc.
In order to make this program a success we are looking for volunteers to help serve the food to the students during the above mentioned hours. This can be anyone from parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc.
If you are interested or know anyone who is contact Julie Snyder. Julie is the treasurer for the School Council. A volunteer poster is attached with Julie’s contact information.
We will send more information your way about the start-up of the program, timing, how it will operate, etc. so you can share this with your children when we are ready to begin.
