Lady Mackenzie Public School students learn about anti-bullying and leadership

On April 5, Lady Mackenzie Public School hosted guest speaker, Scott Graham, to speak with students about anti-bullying and leadership.

The day was broken out into two presentations – the first for primary students and the second for junior and intermediate students.

Graham is an award-winning anti-bullying speaker, youth-influencer, and the Kids 4 Kids Leadership Program founder. He has spoken at over 5,000 schools, presented in six different countries, and has been featured in the Toronto Star and Canadian Health Journal.

TLDSB inclement weather school/facilities/education centre closure – March 31, 2025

The areas that make up Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) have been greatly affected by the ice storm that swept across parts of Ontario this past weekend.

Due to road conditions, power outages, and internet/network outages in some areas, TLDSB has made the decision to close all schools (including the Virtual Learning Centre), education centres, and child care centres in schools tomorrow, Monday, March 31.

This decision was made for the safety of students and staff, and we are communicating with families now in an effort to give time to make alternative arrangements.

Please note, schools will not be moving to online learning.

We hope students will take this opportunity to catch up on work, play a board game, or read/listen to a book.

We appreciate your understanding during another inclement weather situation.

If you have any questions, please contact your child’s school.
